Joanne Birce



Joanne has lived in Calgary for most of her life and is proud to say she’s lived in almost every quadrant of this great city, too. She has been married to her husband, Allan, for 28 years and they have two adult children (Kyleigh and Brendan) and two cats (Jude and Luna). 

Joanne Birce is a senior administrator with experience in a wide variety of sectors such as oil & gas, education, not-for-profit and government. She has been an ardent supporter of Canadian energy for over 20 years and is currently working on her master’s degree in Energy Policy.

In her spare time, she volunteers on the Calgary-Bow CA, Calgary Signal Hill EDA, and is a member of the Calgary Fish Creek Rotary Club. As well, Joanne enjoys camping, hiking and travelling.

Currently, Joanne is the operations administrator and executive assistant to the CEO at the Canadian Energy Centre and focuses most of her time on the corporate, finance, and administrative operations of the Centre.
