Biography

Renee Roberge, born and raised in Alberta and resides in Calgary.  Is both urban and rural from living in multiple cities and in the country as a farmer.

She works in Oil & Gas- Heavy Industrial, is a member of:

  • Construction Owners Association of Alberta (COAA) – currently on Fundamental Leaders in Industrial Construction (FLIC) committee
  • Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering international (AACEi) – active with Calgary & Edmonton AACEi Chapters.
  • Young Pipeliners Association of Canada (YPAC)
  • Canadian Heavy Oil Association (CHOA)

Political Experience:

  • MLA Jackie Armstrong-Homeniuk’s board since 2018 & was lead coordinator of highway signs during 2019 campaign.  Have been the MLA’s board secretary since 2019.

Provincial Board:

  • Hospital Privileges & Appeals Board since 2020

Volunteer with Canadian Energy Center to help support the energy industry.  Volunteer at Anchor D Guiding & Outfitting near Turner Valley as wrangler/ trail guide.

Lived and worked in Calgary formerly and have returned to reside in the city.  Renee is SAIT Alumni, Business – Accounting.  Worked in service, financial, oil & gas, and heavy industrial industries commonly in roles of cost specialist and project controls at both corporate and field sites.

Renee is an avid outdoorsmen, enjoys working with horses, involved with community, taking in the city events, spending time with friends and family.

Running candidate for the role of Calgary Director because it will allow me to support and contribute to the conservative initiatives being the liaison between the Calgary CAs and the Provincial board to bring their voices forward to the board and provide information back to the CAs.
