CALGARY, AB (October 21, 2020): United Conservatives collected nearly $1.2 million in donations in third quarter fundraising, outpacing the NDP and other provincial parties.
The consolidated reports were posted today on Election Alberta’s website. Consolidated numbers are a true reflection of a party’s strength in Alberta as they include fundraising numbers for constituency associations which help power local campaigns during an election.
Year-to-date totals show United Conservatives have collected $3.115 million from supporters across the province, nearly $375,000 more than the NDP.
“We’re extremely humbled that conservative donors continue to give in a significant way as we stay ahead of the NDP in 2020 fundraising,” United Conservative Party Executive Director Dustin van Vugt said. “We’ve seen our members continue to show their support through their wallets during these difficult times.”
