Oil and gas continue to drive Alberta and Canada’s economy, but federal policies have held us back—blocking pipelines, limiting our trade options, and forcing us to rely too much on the U.S. The recent threat of tariffs proves just how vulnerable that has left us.

The completion of the Trans Mountain expansion has shown the world wants our energy. But without more pipelines—like Northern Gateway or Energy East—we’ll stay stuck, losing billions and selling our resources at a discount.
