Launched the Alberta Broadband Strategy, a commitment to reach 100% universal broadband access by 2027. Investment (provincial and Federal) into this initiative totals $780 million. As a result, 50 communities across the province are now receiving funding to build reliable, high-speed internet networks, with many more communities set to receive funding soon.
With the support of the UCP, Alberta has attracted 268 venture capital deals totalling $1.98 billion in investment dollars for Alberta across all sectors.
